There is a famous saying that the limit to our future is the limit of our language. I extremely love this statement because it reflects the universal truth. By having the ability to have a good command of foreign languages, we develop by leaps and bounds. Nonetheless, different trees have different flowers and different families have different situations. In fact, not every family is able to allow their offspring to pursue a new language beyond their mother tongue. As a result, some people hold an opinion that schools ought not to coerce students into studying foreign languages. For my money, I strongly disagree with this notion because students cannot improve their knowledge, are less likely to have a good salary, and become self-taught people. To commence, it is really harmful when schools do not have foreign languages in studying programs because students are incapable of widening their knowledge. In fact, there are loads of quintessence materials written in foreign languages, especially English. Without having the command of English, students cannot enrich their comprehension, which makes them fall behind. However, since students excel at English, it is as easy as pie for them to have in-depth knowledge about any field such as math, literature, chemistry, history etc. As a result, they will be more likely to become experts as well as high flyers in the future. Moreover, schools need to teach foreign languages because being proficient in foreign languages helps students to have a high salary. Indeed, in the era of globalization, corporations in loads of aspects such as economy, culture, politics, etc are more and more prevailing. Thus, most companies require the youth to be qualified in foreign languages because they are probable to make a great contribution to bringing beneficial international transactions to companies. As a result, entrepreneurs have a tendency of giving more premium to them. Hence, the more conversant they are with other languages, the more income they have. Therefore, if schools do not give students a chance of studying foreign languages, they just get a nine-to-five job and cannot have a high living earning. Last but not least, it is very crucial for students to be learned foreign languages as they have opportunities to turn into self-studying people. To illustrate, during the process of improving a new language, students have to learn a multitude of vocabularies and grammar as well as practice four core skills: listening, speaking, writing, and reading. It forces them to study by themselves which forms the characteristic of doing anything under their own steam. Accordingly, they will have an edge over others when entering the constantly evolving world. To recapitulate, learning new languages will give students many golden opportunities to develop. Lacking the ability to speak foreign languages, students cannot broaden their future horizons. Though there are many badly-off students, it is infinitely essential for schools to teach new languages beyond students’ mother tongue. Not only can students be knowledgeable about their favorite fields but they also stand a good chance of having an ideal wage. In addition, they will tend to become autodidacts at either end. Hence, schools should promote activities of teaching and learning foreign languages.

It is argued that it is challenging for children to learn a foreign language, schools should not emphasize this subject area. While they may find some comfort in holding this opinion, I strongly believe that children should be encouraged to learn a foreign language, not to be forced to learn it. On the one hand, it is undeniable that learning other languages is very useful for children. Firstly, learning new languages helps children understand more about different traditions and cultures, which may encourage mutual understanding between people in different nations and promote globalization. For instance, English is a language that is widely accepted and understood throughout the world, the only reason why it's being made mandatory in most schools. Secondly, students who take up to learn the extra language have found to be more competent enough as compared to their counterparts. For example, a survey conducted on intelligence level by UCOL university found that students with an awareness of two languages had IQ levels greater than their component who knew just their native language. On the other hand, children should not be forced to study a foreign language because of many reasons. Firstly, learning under the pressure does not lead to a good result of studying for children. In turn, children who have to learn what they do not like may not only feel stressed but also lose their passion and motivation in studying languages and other subjects as well. Secondly, some children do not have a natural ability to learn languages, instead, they are very good at other areas such as sciences or arts. Such children should be encouraged to study what they are good at in order to have better development, instead of being forced to learn what they are unable to do. In conclusion, I believe that learning a foreign language is important but it should be considered as an optional subject, not as a compulsory subject for children.

Some people think that students do not know foreign languages, so they are not forced to learn foreign languages. In my opinion, that statement is completely wrong. I think there are some difficulties hindering their learning such as means of transportation, the geographical distance is too far and it is difficult to travel with students in mountainous areas, or the psychology of some city students when studying. For me, all those reasons are not impossible to improve. For students, foreign languages are necessary to help them a lot in later life such as works, emotions, etc. Therefore, they should learn foreign languages.

As I said above, there are many things that can hinder language learning. For many students in mountainous areas, the means of transportation and geographical distance are too far, difficult to travel, or some families do not want to send their children to school, only helping with farm work at home. These are some of the things that are difficult for students, but we can improve on them. For city students, the boredom of learning grammar without being able to communicate is the biggest obstacle that makes them not want to learn foreign languages, leading to not learning foreign languages without knowledge. Teachers can change teaching methods to make lessons more attractive to students. You see, all reasons can be improved upon.

In my opinion, foreign languages play an important role in the later life of every student. They help them in many areas of life such as work, love, entertainment, study and many others.

As you know, most of the websites for fun, learning, good songs, maybe in economic relations, students need a lot of foreign languages. They help them understand and absorb what people say or write. If students plan to go to other countries to study or travel, they need to understand those languages.

To conclude, foreign languages are essential for the future life of students in many fields in the future. Students are not unable to learn those things, it is because some things are difficult for them as I have listed above. Students and teachers can improve them in a better way to ensure that all students can learn foreign languages.

I completely agree with the quick statement that a child will not be forced to learn another subject. This essay supports my views on difficulty and usage. Each child has a unique set of physical qualities. Memory, mathematical thinking, humanistic thinking - the absence or existence of these skills makes students capable of learning certain subjects. For example, forcing students to be good at math in a foreign language can cause feelings of boredom in the learning process. As a result, students tend to lose interest in learning. Furthermore, a student's lack of confidence can hinder learning a new language. Not only that, compulsory schooling can lead to an increase in this psychological state and the appearance of inferiority complex. The best way to avoid those difficulties is to empower students to choose whether they are willing to take language lessons. In conclusion, I would say that unless a person is interested in learning an international language, he should not be forced to learn it.
